Thanks for the feature request, Nicolas! Just to confirm — Tally already supports this: you can connect your form to a Notion database and map Tally fields to Relation properties, enabling full use of Notion’s relation and rollup capabilities. You can set it up by going to the Integrations tab in your form and choosing Notion. More info here: https://tally.so/help/notion-integration
Thanks for this request! While our native integration doesn’t support the Relation property yet, you can already achieve this with a workaround: - with Make.com - documented here - how to map a Tally field to a Notion Relation property: https://tally.so/help/notion-integration#8d79a572ec434e9e8a2… - with other integrations: https://tally.so/help/integrations
Really need this!
This was a showstopper for me. I had to go back to using NoteForms collecting registrations for Companies and People. They support having company name relation in the form populated with values that a new person can select from. I could not find a way to populate the options of a dropdown field based on a lookup to a table using Tally.
Might as well do a thorough integration with Notion one day tbh
Yeah, Notion relations API is based on the pages' ids of a database, not the titles, so, if managing the translation title-->id is too complicated to manage, just give out the possibility to insert a page id and create the relation... (which is also the same concept of people properties)
We strongly advocate for this. It's the only feature that's missing from Tally which is forcing us to use other platforms. Currently we have to use noteforms to plug this gap, and we're not particularly happy with the software. Our requirement is for the form to populate a relation field with the options from our existing database. For example, each time we add a person to notion we need to be able to select them as an "assignee" in a task form. Without this there is too much effort required for us to create, let alone maintain, the myriad forms for different databases that we use.
