I'd also like to see a slider that features range options ex. total of 1-15 and choice of 5 to 10 range. (like when shopping on amazon for filters)

Ideally, this should have optional labels (e.g., on the ends) and, also, an option for no default value so that user answer is unbiased (yes, I know this is slightly weird, but it's important for some including me).

Agreed. I'd love to have a scale option that would be a little more engaging, like this one, that I could use for a calculator.
