Send reminders to respondents who didn't complete the form (email notification for partial submissions)

is it possible to send scheduled reminders to a respondent? This would increase the likelihood of a form being completed

Would love this feature added! Need it so badly!! Losing a lot of potential interest because people drop off the form when they might not mean to. Or expose the API to zapier.

would massively improve Tally for us as we use this to qualify leads → just a quick improvement in completion rate can be directly linked to greater revenue and profits → happy to pay for that feature

Would be great to have a feature where a partial email can be sent through tally to partial respondents

Any chance you can add this feature, leaves so much on the table not following up with clients that part filled forms, they might have just forgotten to press submit, this could potentially cost Tally users thousands in sales in aggregate.

Thanks for the suggestion, Nicasina! That’s a great idea — we don’t currently support emailing partial submissions, but we’ll definitely keep this in mind. 🙏

I'm following this as well, partial submissions are really important to me, that's the main reason I signed up for PRO but then saw the fine text that you don't get notifications or export. What I need is that partials still get emailed out as a notification, maybe with [Partial] in the subject line, exposing via api (for Make or Zapier) would be good as well. Our process is that with partial applications we still enter them into our CRM and try contact the customer to see if they need assistance in completing the process.

I think this is a really important feature, at least to expose via API or through Zapier. Really important.

So nothing added to this? Because this form is basically useless if I cant be notified by email when a form submission is made.

Hi Harvest Moon Marketing, thanks for this request! I see how you envision this feature and its intended purpose. While I can't make any promises about if or when it might be implemented, rest assured that you'll see updates here if anything changes. Thanks again for your contribution!

I wanted to bump this topic up. Here is my perspective. Having the option to send email notifications after a partial submission or even enabling Zapier, would really boost Tally's value proposition. I can tell you from my experience that I closed leads that partially filled out the form. So having this option would make Tally really valuable to me as a small web agency owner Best Kim btw, I asked Marie about it too. I hope this feature will be added in a new realese soon :)

If we can have this sorted out this would be a great interim solution, at least until there is a way a true workflow can be developed around partial submissions. Otherwise, we have to manually go through each submission and reach out to them to inform them they have yet to fill out the form.

YES .. I would love to have this feature. We do it manually and it is the only part of our forms process that we cannot automate or integrate within our workflows.

Our use case is as follows: An audience needs to fill in a survey, but their results need to be anonymous— but the organizer still needs to follow up only with those who haven't submitted. Therefore, if a survey could be limited to those who were emailed, their responses anonymous, but still magically those who have submitted could be taken off the list of recipients for follow up reminders. I suppose this feature would also work if the survey WASN'T anonymous, too.
