It's possible to change settings to change Form header picture from 25% to another size. I changed it to 60% and it looked fine when working on creating the form page. However, when I tested the form link online, what showed up was still the 25% view of the picture. Thus, NOT looking professional for what my layout idea is. There is a mention of the form header picture ought to be at least 1500 pixels wide, however, there is no mention of the height size. If the height size is only "allowed" to be the original setting of 25%; what indeed is then the pixel height to match that? This is crucial for us users to know. Now, I am wasting time trying to figure it out, and the Pro result that I desire is not yet showing up. So, please, add what the 25% height size of a form header is, in fact, supposed to be, if the width is suggested to be at least 1500 pixels. And how come it's possible to change the size of the form header to something else than the default setting of 25%, when the picture in fact does not show up online after the change as it is seen on the form editing page? Thus WYSIWYG is NOT the case here and it is confusing without clues on how to solve this issue. Please help!
Resizing images would be very useful - sooner the better, as far as I am concerned! Thanks!
Completely agree! Being able to resize images is key, but I'd like to add another urgent reason: mobile responsiveness. Even if you manage to arrange images side-by-side on the web version, the layout breaks on mobile devices, automatically stacking them one on top of the other. This forces users to scroll down endlessly and really hurts the user experience. I really hope the Tally team can fix this by introducing native image galleries that maintain a compact and user-friendly layout on mobile screens as well. Upvoted!
This would be fantastic!!
Would really appreciate if this ability was incorporated! Thanks
Yes - visual control ist super important - also with the logic function it would be super nice to be able to resize / crop or use icons...
This would be really useful
Unbelievable such a main-function is not implemented since the beginning and people have to beg for years. Its 2025 and still not implemented :o
Has this been figured out?
Hi Akash, Thanks a lot for your feedback 🙏 We understand how tricky it can be to make background and header images look consistent across devices. At the moment, Tally automatically adjusts images to fit different screen sizes, which can cause them to appear differently on desktop vs mobile. The best workaround is to upload an image that’s centered and has extra space on the sides — this helps keep it looking good on all devices. We’ve noted your suggestion to add fixed sizing and image adjustment options for future improvements. Thanks again for taking the time to share this!
Thanks for the suggestion, Kenton 🙌 We’ll keep this in mind!
When using embeds, the image must be hosted externally, which can cause a delay of 2–4 seconds before it appears in the form. Despite this, I strongly recommend adding the ability to resize images. It’s essential for achieving a good layout. While using additional columns can help, it’s not an ideal solution. I believe most Tally users would prefer a simple option to click and resize an image directly. I hope Tally are considering this improvement.
Hello, that's would be great to us that our clients could edit images before uploading then. I say edit, because other features would great to, such as coloring and resizing images. But just the option to crop images would be very greateful.
Hi all, there are two workarounds for this: - Use /embed instead of /image and embed your image from an url, you'll be able to resize the image, also see https://tally.so/help/embed-content-in-tally-forms#5ef822f40… - Build columns (for example with empty text blocks) around your image, which you can then resize to give your image the desired size, also see https://tally.so/help/columns
Creating columns is great, but it's not available for mobile devices, and that's where most of my audience is."
This will be extremely helpful. Adding your own icons in the answer boxes will make the forms look so much better.
OMG pliiiiiis add this, I need it sm
I would like this too - please add
Yes, please. This would be very beneficial for forms that we don't want to take too much space.
please!!!
Images in multiple-choice options look giant-sized and unprofessional. Could you please allow resizing of images in multiple-choice options? Thanks
