That said, there is a possible workaround using conditional logic. You can set conditions on a field to check whether an answer contains or does not contain specific characters or words, and then: prevent the respondent from continuing, or show an error message or warning block. This approach works with specific characters or terms (for example, blocking certain non-Latin characters), but it can’t generally detect “English” as a language.
