Let's go Tally!

I have a question- how can I have the completed form information sent directly to my email so I know I have a lead

Jun 4, 2026

I think anytime someone completes your form, Tally automatically send a you a notification via your registered email. So you just have to login and view the submission. I guess this suffices well enough. Try submitting a form information yourself and see how it works.

It would be great if we could at least switch to Source view as some WSIWYG editors do. For example, for expense submission form, it would help with readability if we could insert a table to line up the descriptions, amount, tax, total as separate columns. Another use case is if we want to include a button or stylized link. Related to that is if we want to include a URL link with parameters from their form response. While we can set up a friendly display name it does not allow us to add @parameters so then we'd have to show the full URL.

Bumping this feature request! My executives love the surveys I can produce with Tally, but they hate the respondent emails. Puts a damper on a great survey experience for our respondents.

hanks so much for the detailed suggestion, Alexander! We totally see how HTML email support would unlock a lot of powerful use cases — really appreciate you sharing this idea. 🙌

Yesssssss............

I want this feature too

HTML may be beautiful, but it also sucks in a million different ways: https://useplaintext.email/#why-plaintext Tally should still have a plaintext fallback for HTML emails (send a [multipart/alternative](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIME#alternative) email) since there are plenty of users and clients who can't or don't want to read HTML infused garbage.

Let'sssss gooooo Tallyyyyy! :)

This is also important to us!

How come they didn't add this feature yet?

Nov 25, 2024

Interested! The current options just are not enough (insert bullets for instance or use different line-height). My emails just look super ugly now and would love to have some more freedom. Otherwise I'll create a hook in Make or Zapier, but I mainly bought Tally Pro for this option, and right now it still is just 20% helpful. Thanks!

Hi Sam Hengeveld, thanks for your feedback, I understand how you'd like to have this feature and glad to read you see how you can make this work with our integrations. While I can't make any promises about if or when it might be implemented, rest assured that you'll see updates here if anything changes. Thanks again for your contribution!

Hi Mathias Meldgaard, thanks for your request! In tally, everyone can send email notifications to themselves after a form has been submitted. As a Tally Pro subscriber you can add multiple respondents, create different messages and edit the content of the message. For more elaborate email formatting options, we'd need the option to create HTM-emails. I'll merge your feature request with that one.

Hi Sahana Gopal, thanks for this request! I've merged it with a similar one. Also see this one about sending emails from customer domains: https://tally.so/feedback/p/sending-emails-from-a-custom-dom…

PLEEEAASE add this feature. It's so important to many of us. It's not just adding html to the respondent email but also the ability to add it to the THANK YOU page. It would make both of these customer facing communications look so much more professional.

Here's some apps that may integrate well with Tally to accomplish this: 1. https://beefree.io (recently acquired Really good emails) 2. https://loops.so Let me know if yall know of anything similar or any thoughts!

May 8, 2025

Jared Dundas "May" integrate well? Let us know if you actually try them and see that they work!

Marc Tytus should get to it eventually - there's quite a number of priority requests. Thanks for your patience! 🙏🏽
