Date's default answer for today's date

There should be an option when choosing default answer in date for the date the user is submitting the form, like when submitting on 8/24/2023 the default date should be 8/24/2023 without having the user to choose the date.

📆 You can now set a date's default answer to Today. The pre-filled date will update automatically based on when respondents are filling out the form.

yes! i need this as i use a form daily to input my expenses into a spreadsheet and this would save me some time

This feature is indeed needed.

YES! I wanted to use a hidden field with today's date to get around the fact that they don't have an "open date" option for the form. But it's not possible and so it's not possible to even rig an open date. Disappointing.
