This is a workaround to create your own buttons in Tally today: - enter /image to embed an image - upload your own button design as the image - enter a url in the "image link" in the image settings You now have created your custom Tally button!

Also the ability to add a button anywhere is required to add good conditional logic so that we can say yes or no

Hi good evening

Hi Sebastian! Thanks for the feedback! While Tally doesn't currently support adding a second CTA button alongside the main submit button natively, you can actually achieve something very close to what you're describing by combining conditional logic, styling, and a dynamic redirect on completion. The idea is: instead of a second button, you add a question at the end of your form asking the user what they'd like to do next — for example, "Would you like to finish here, or book a free demo call?" — with two (or more) answer options. Then, based on which option they choose, you can: Send them to a specific thank you page with different content and CTAs. Redirect them to an external URL (like a Calendly booking page). Route them to another page inside the form with follow-up questions. To set this up, here are the two guides you'll want: Redirect on completion: https://tally.so/help/redirect-on-completion Dynamic redirect setup (calculated field + conditional logic): https://tally.so/help/redirect-on-completion#2d5399f0ce0d420… Conditional logic: https://tally.so/help/conditional-logic It takes a bit of extra configuration compared to a simple second button, but the end result covers most of the use cases you described. If you'd like a hand setting it up for your specific scenario, feel free to write to https://tally.so/support with the details of what you're trying to build and we'll happily walk you through the setup.

We already have pretty complex URL Redirect setup that happens on the Settings page. Using answers of several questions, hidden fields and also calculated fields. And I didn't find a way to create the URL as a calculated field with complex logic as a calculated field. If that would be possible I could simply use the calculated field approach for more totally different URLs. [our internal app URL]=/en-@checkoutCountryCode/@redirectCheckoutsOrSubmissions?startDate=@When would you like your coverage to start?%26insuranceType=INTERNATIONAL_HEALTH%26@redirectPremiumEUR@premiumBaseRiskCommission%26formId=@Submission ID%26utm_source=@utm_source

Hi Sebastian, Thanks for the detail — and yes, what you're describing is fully possible today. You can move your entire URL construction out of the Settings field and into a calculated field, which gives you all the flexibility you're after. Here's how. 1. Create a calculated field of type Text called URL. Type /calculated field in your form (best placed at the top), name it URL, choose Text, and leave the initial value blank. 2. In Settings → Redirect on completion, reference only that calculated field: @URL. That's the whole redirect setting — just @URL, nothing else. You no longer build the URL with parameters in the Settings field. Instead, the Settings field just points to the calculated field, and all the real work happens inside URL. 3. Build the URL value with a Formula inside the calculated field. This is the key part you were missing. A Text calculated field can construct the string using a formula — a single expression where you concatenate fixed text and dynamic fields with +. You reference form fields with @ mentions and wrap the literal parts in double quotes. The docs show this exact pattern: "https://example.com/" + @page. So your insurance checkout URL would become a formula on the URL field, something like: "https://yourapp.com/en-" + @checkoutCountryCode + "/" + @redirectCheckoutsOrSubmissions + "?startDate=" + @startDate + "&insuranceType=INTERNATIONAL_HEALTH" + "&" + @redirectPremiumEUR + @premiumBaseRiskCommission + "&formId=" + @Submission_ID + "&utm_source=" + @utm_source A few tips from the formula reference: Always insert fields with @ + autocomplete so they resolve to the actual values. Only type manually the parts not collected in the form — your static text and separators (/, ?, &, =). Wrap all literal text in double quotes. Use parentheses () if you need to control grouping. Doc for reference: https://tally.so/help/form-calculator#3758a570dd6a806ebed0ef… Why this solves your case: because the URL is now calculated with formulas and logic (not in Settings), you can produce completely different URLs per condition — different countries, insurance types, or flows each assembling their own URL. And a useful behavior to design around: if under some condition the URL field resolves to empty, Tally won't redirect and the respondent simply lands on the Thank You page instead — so you can mix external redirects and internal endings in the same flow. Thanks for your suggestion! At the moment, Tally doesn’t support adding custom buttons as a field. The only built-in buttons available are the Next and Submit buttons. As an alternative, you can use hyperlinks within text blocks if you’d like to guide users to other pages or actions. We really appreciate the idea though, thank you!

Hi Swanny, thank you for your feedback! Being able to add multiple custom buttons that jump to other parts of the form is a great feature request. That said, please note that Tally is a form builder first, so it’s optimized for collecting structured responses in steps. It’s not designed to fully replace websites or landing pages with tabs or multiple interactive sections, but we’re always exploring for ways to give creators more flexibility!

Hey Gabriel Migliazza, thanks for the feedback! Can you give us more details on what you'd like to see implemented?

Sep 19, 2025

Thanks for the suggestion, John! 🙏 In the meantime, as a workaround you can add a hyperlink anywhere in your form to direct respondents to another form or external page. We’ve noted your request for a native button feature!

A very important feature indeed. I need to add multiple links to my e-commerce website like "Check details" as buttons under multiple products. Heading, paragraph and a button with an image will look amazing. Please, consider it 🙏🏻

@Frederik, 2 points - this solution could be good but in this case, you should be able to size the image. And the moment, this solution doesn't work. we can only see the link but no image

Jan 10, 2025

Hi Mathieu Guérin: About sizing the image: that's indeed a more difficult one. You can change the size of the image by placing (empty) blocks next to it and adapting the width of the columns you created, thus also changing the size of the image. However, this solution works for me, so if you see the link but no image, please reach out to us on Tally support (tally.so/support) to investigate this issue.

Hi Mathieu Guérin, thanks for this request! I'll merge it with a similar one.

Frederik Simoen Thank you for your reply Frederik, this will be very usefull to redirect users after the quiz. Regards

Nov 27, 2024

Yes, it would be very useful to be able to add a simple button widget. This seems very easy and standard.. i am surprised it's not in Tally already.

Nov 22, 2024

I wanted to check if anyone who posted on or liked this page still sees a need for this feature and can help me better understand how it would work and to what purpose you would use it? Thank you!

Nov 23, 2024

Frederik Simoen I think it would be super useful if not only the link after completing the form could be customized, but also other links integrated into the form. This would make it possible, for example, to refer to personalized documents (e.g., a personalized contract) during the filling process. It would be great if I could also display a link as a button, though I consider that optional.

Nov 25, 2024

Hi Johannes Faller, regarding the feature to customize links, I'd like to direct you to this request: https://tally.so/feedback/p/dynamic-links-and-embeds-using-f… And for displaying links as buttons, I'd like to direct you to this request: https://tally.so/feedback/p/cta-button

Nov 18, 2024

Client Flo, thanks for this request! Could you clarify if your request is to have dynamic redirects, as described here (https://tally.so/help/redirect-on-completion#f186ecda9ce4498…) or something else?

Nov 21, 2024

Frederik Simoen, Thank you for responding to my request. I was specifically wondering about what you have provided as: Redirect to different URLs and Tally forms: To redirect users to different websites, landing pages, or Tally forms upon form completion, you’ll need to use conditional logic and calculated fields....etc. This response and instruction is helpful and appreciated.

Nov 9, 2024

I've been searching for a solution that will do this and thought I finally found it with Tally... but sadly not :( Please add!

Nov 18, 2024

Hi Ben Philabaum, thanks for your contribution. I'd be interested to hear a bit more about what specifically you're looking for!

Nov 21, 2024

Frederik Simoen what you posted above is what i needed thanks!!

Nov 4, 2024

Another vote for this. I'd love to be able to add "Skip" buttons in the beginning of sections or a back button (though that should probably be a dedicated feature).

Oct 22, 2024

CTA button on thankyou page that allows passing of multiple custom values through URL like this: domain.com/form?email=email&name=name&custom=custom

Aug 14, 2024

I NEED THIS SO MUCH! So my Pixel willl optimize for the right type of leads.

Aug 7, 2024

We need this!

Nov 2, 2023

Hello, Thanks for you request. As a workaround today, you can create a button on the Thank you page with Custom CSS (https://tally.so/help/add-custom-styles) and some code like: .tally-page-thank-you a { display: inline-flex !important; align-items: center !important; justify-content: center !important; background-color: #6236ff !important; color: #fff !important; height: 32px !important; padding: 0 12px !important; border: 0 !important; border-radius: 5px !important; cursor: pointer !important; font-size: 14px !important; }

Jul 20, 2023

Hi Bastien, Thanks for your feature request. Yaou can change an hyperlink to a button using Custom CSS for example in your Thank You Page: .tally-page-thank-you a { display: inline-flex !important; align-items: center !important; justify-content: center !important; background-color: #6236ff !important; color: #fff !important; height: 32px !important; padding: 0 12px !important; border: 0 !important; border-radius: 5px !important; cursor: pointer !important; font-size: 14px !important; }

Jul 3, 2023

Just to be sure, this involves being able to add CTAs that aren't the submit or navigation bottoms at the bottom?

Jul 6, 2023

Marvin Luksenberg: i would most like to have the submit button to be able to be formatted and be in different locations multiple times through the form so that we can use it more like a traditional funnel/simple landing page.
