Bumping this, even though the "workaround exists". For sure the QOL is better if it's as "simple" as: If (condition) then (this email layout).
As others have said, it would be great to trigger emails conditionally. We have forms for which we only want a notification email to be sent to us if someone fills out a specific field. If that field is blank, we don't need an email notification about the form submission.
Ethan Grant: You can already achieve that with a workaround - create a /calculated field to which you assign the email address with conditional logic (when the specific field is filled out) and use that calculated field as "To" in your email notification. No email notification will be sent if it's empty, but when there is a value assigned to it, the email notification will be sent!
Frederik Simoen This works for now, thank you very much.

Hi Hexelia, thanks for this request! I'll merge it with a similar one.
We have a "quiz" type of form and would love to send the results of the quiz via email or PDF. Currently we can only send "user input" fields via email/automations - but we have many heading/text/image fields that are conditional based on quiz results - that we would like to send too. Is there a way around this other than recreating the conditional logic in another tool?
You can do the redirection using calculated field for URL and referencing it @URL in the redirect url field. https://tally.so/help/form-calculator https://tally.so/help/dynamic-email-notifications
Hey Veronika — thanks a ton for the feature request and for being a Tally user! We love hearing from you. ✌️
