Change delimiter for google sheets (for example)

I can't find a way to change the delimiter for ranking fields. It currently uses "," which is quite common in normal language and can be in the ranking options then preventing me to split the answer for post-processing. ";" would perhaps be a bit better, and the ability to set it to anything I want, or something like "|" would be of great help, the split function would work.
