Cancel or close a form without submit

I consider to use a Tally form for users to add information to my db from their mobile. My idea is to add a hidden field with their id and then show the form. But maybe the user changes his mind and does not want to add information anymore. On mobile the form covers the whole screen. So in that case ideally the user can select a back or close button (maybe even with a popup, 'Are your sure?' in case some fields are filled). The back button works as well, but is less natural because your forms feel like an app (that is a complement!) and not like a website.
