Hi— thanks a ton for the feature request and for being a Tally user! We love hearing from you.
Thanks for the suggestion, Patrick! We don’t support currency formatting in calculated fields yet, but there’s a workaround you can try: Create your calculated field as usual. Add a Number input block, set it to Hidden (click HIde), and set its Default answer to the calculated field. Number blocks allow you to apply formatting (like currency with separators). Then, display that formatted value anywhere you want using answer piping. If you’d like help setting this up, feel free to reach out to our support team: https://tally.so/support
not having this in calculated fields is insane to me. especially when the it was reported almost 2 years ago.
Hi all, while a calculated field has no formatting options, there is an easy workaround: - create a number field - hide the number field - set the calculated field as default value for the number field - apply all formatting options you'd like - @mention the number field and have it displayed in your desired formatting
Please implement this. Displaying large numerical values without separators creates a jarring user experience. Hope you guys are already working on it, as this could be implemented similarly to the existing formatting options for numerical inputs.
Hello Weerawat, Can you please give me more details about your request? It's already possible to to have calculated field with number format: https://tally.so/help/form-calculator#6d0fc7b9d78a43159e89c2…
Jonathan Hi, it shows difference in the email.

For some reason, the period as thousands separator (1.000.000), shown in the screenshot by Jonathan, disappeared. Some regions like mine use this as the convention. Would you please bring it back? Thanks a bunch!
Would be amazing to have currency formatting to - even just adding a $ symbol in-front.
Hi guys, We just publish this! It's now possible to change your decimal separator and add a separator for thousands. Two more options will be deployed in the coming weeks.
Yes we need the monetary formats so we can do totals on the forms, for order totals, finance calculations, loan calculators etc.
