yes please mommy daddy
happy to pay for that feature !
please please please would love this. We are getting a ton of people adding their address but we only focus on one state and there's not even a state dropdown template. The conditional logic therefore is just super hard to manage (like someone can say they live at 123 Main St and then there's no way to determine if they aren't legit). Totally messes up the pixel at the end.
Hi Aveshan, Thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re actually currently working on an address autocomplete feature, including postcode/suburb autocomplete functionality 😊 Really appreciate the suggestion and use case.
When are plans to release this? Definitely seeking this for my form!
Hi — thanks a ton for the feature request and for being a Tally user! We love hearing from you. ✌️
I agree that an address field - ideally a google readable address/google geographic location would be a huge help. I realise that this would require Tally to be calling a Google API each time an entry is made, and that has an associated cost, so this may need to be a premium feature.
this feature would be extremely helpful and reduce friction people might feel while filling out our forms
Really need that option
Hi — thanks a ton for the feature request and for being a Tally user! We love hearing from you. ✌️
Address would be a very helpful addition for us. I see in the comments that it was once on the roadmap and it's now not. :/ If anyone has workarounds they've used, would love to hear.
Need this so much !
would love this feature
concordo!
With a maps selector where we could correct the geolocation if it's wrong. Thanks
Another strong vote for this feature coming from me. One of the biggest things driving my decision on which form builder service to use
Yes please when can we have autocomplete addresses! I need this for New Zealand addresses
This would be great. Should be a core feature really. I'm very surprised this is missing.
Love you
Needed!
Availability of the feature Hi there, I'm still looking for the best tool for my form, and the key feature for me is the address autocomplete with G maps. Could you let me know when this feature will be available? Are you already working on it, or is it not on your roadmap? Thank you
When should we expect this?
Hi, I'd like to suggest a potential improvement to your forms: automatic GPS coordinate registration. This feature would greatly enhance scientific field surveys and various research projects. It appears that none of your competitors have yet tapped into the scientific survey market, as most seem to focus on economic surveys. Currently, KoboToolbox is the only app serving humanitarian and scientific fields, allowing users to create surveys and save GPS coordinates. As a scientist who frequently uses Notion for field data collection, I believe exploring this avenue could be beneficial. I know several scientific companies that would be very interested in such functionality. Adding GPS coordinate registration could give you a competitive edge in the scientific survey market. It would make your platform more versatile and appealing to researchers and field scientists.
please implement this - we get so many complaints about our user address collection!
Why don't you just allow users to input their API key for a service like Canada Post's address Complete - then it is their money they are spending on the validation https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/ac/pricing/ https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/ac/support/api/
Andrew Barbour: thanks for the suggestion! cc Filip Minev
This needs to happen ASAP!
Hi Tommaso Ruschi, thanks for your question. You can see here (https://tally.so/roadmap) that "address input" is on our roadmap! After we finish the first version of the Tally API, our current timeline estimate is to deliver this feature early 2025. Our current ambition is to have an "/address" block that allows form builders to collect full addresses from their respondents in a structured way in the free plan. Autocomplete is also likely to be available, but as part of the Business plan.
Frederik Simoen Hey Frederik! Any update on the timeline of this? We have an urgent need and trying to determine if we need to hire a developer to custom build this for us.
Ryan Gates: sorry for the delayed reply - we've postponed the release of this feature to an undefined date, possibly later this year. So creating this feature with an in-house developer is probably your best option, for now.
This is a major topic for us and the only reason which prevents us from using Tally. Should be a flexible solution to integrate any API for auto completions (so that it's not limited to just addresses). Is it currently on the roadmap / planned? Thank you very much!
Hi Stefan Nolte, thanks for your feedback. I'm happy to confirm that this topic actually is up next on our roadmap! We'll be taking all input from this page into account as we're developing this feature. However, we can't promise that all requested features will be integrated (in the first version). You can always consult the roadmap here: https://tally.so/roadmap
Frederik Simoen Awesome, so much looking forward to it! Thanks for your quick reply!
This is a big problem for us not having this can Tally please provide an update on this ASAP as this feed has been going for nearly 18 months and its a simple feature
plus 1 on this
Ok you pick ne
Even simple validation of zip code formats or matching zips with city/town would be a great start. Happy to source the data with a third party app key. Or its a Pro feature maybe? Danke!

This is a MAJOR source of frustration for us with Tally. It takes hours for us to manually correct address data. Most people enter incomplete addresses and then we have to follow up with them manually or guess. If there was a prefilled option that would be great! I'd even be willing to use my own Google Maps API key for it if the costs are what y'all are concerned about.
I cannot agree more. Having an autocomplete address box helps with conversions in a MASSIVE way. This should definitely be included in the Pro Plan.

Yes i'm agree
great point ! me too
In Denmark, there is a publicly available (and free) component called DAWA. Would be nice to be able to inject or integrate it. https://dawadocs.dataforsyningen.dk/dok/adresser
Was in the process of recreating my forms from JotForm and noticed there is no address block. Street Address, Street Address Line 2, City, State, Zip, Country. With the country being a dropdown with a list of options.
Don't need address level but would love city, state, country level for this.
Would definitely pay a pro licence for this feature! It would be game-changer for us. Love Lubhit's idea to have a searchable dropdown connected to a datasource.
Would be perfect if we could integrate with Google Maps API for auto-complete address fields.
I think a broader version of this functionality is Searchable drop down list, for address it's connected with datasource which has all potential address listing flowing in which is getting filtered basis intial characters of address specified by user
Yes autocomplete is the best user experience for address fields
