Please 🙏🏽, with the advancement of AI voice is already becoming the primary way to interact when it comes to text based interactions.
This is a great feature Idea but I can see the complexity and cost issues to you, and with the rise of voice to text solutions like whisperflow, I would not build this if I were you but here is an idea. maybe reach out to whisperflow and create a plugin our, have a way of us plugging in our own voice to text. that way we pay for the 'consumption' charges not you.

We really need this, please. Voice recordings convey much more than text; they're incredibly useful, for example, in mental health forms. Additionally, people have a fundamental need to be listened to. For now, we're using VideoAsk for this specific use case, but Tally is far superior in other areas. Could an audio recorder feature be added, please? Is this something that will be implemented in Tally, or not?
OK, still no answer from the team, so I will have to start to develop my own form with AI supporting audio recording. It's actually quite easy, I got a great working prototype in 30min (of course, the form creation will never be as good as Tally, but I really don't mind, I can ask AI to create a form in the format of my app for me, and what's important is the public form). Also I can easily add my own features without having to wait for the team. SAS are in danger with AI..

Adding more support for a mic button to allow a user to use audio to input their answer, would be very useful for me.
Yes, imagine getting the audio file in as links or append as comments in notion. Uses are endless & use case is growing more & more important everyday.
Would love to have this. Haven't seen any other form builders have this feature so this will be set of great value for many and a competitor advantage for Tally.

Please. Every other tool I'm using for this is so frustrating. See Tolstoy--who was completely changed their use case within a year and Video Ask which is barely useable. The option for folks to respond to something with video or with audio would be gamechanging for me.

I just started with Tally yesterday, and this is EXACTLY what I was hoping for! My forms require heavy text, often multi-paragraph answers, and this would be so helpful for the client.
