Add required toggle for the text of an 'Other' option

I think it's great that Tally has an "Other" option now! However, it's rather useless as form fillers can currently check it, not add any text, and move to the next section. (Defeats the purpose of allowing additional answers if users can use it to skip actually answering anything) --- I would like the option to make the 'Other' option text field required. --- (Also, it would be great if the choice status as 'Other' was more obvious, i.e., add an icon or small label)

Hi all, we have made the "Other" free text field required. I hope this helps! ☺️

Hi all, while you can't make the automatically created other field mandatory, you can do that when you create the field manually. Read more about that in this guide: https://tally.so/help/how-to-create-an-other-option#362bda02…

Came here to say similar! It would be nice to have the option to make the 'Other' text field required. At the moment I have a conditional where if Other is selected, the whole question becomes required.
