Add a tooltip to form questions

We would like optional explanations for individual form questions without showing all text upfront or requiring respondents to select an extra checkbox/dropdown answer. Our preferred solution is a clickable question-mark icon beside the question title that opens a popup with formatted explanatory text. It should work by tap on mobile, click on desktop and keyboard, rather than relying on hover alone. As an alternative, an inline “Explanation” / “More information” accordion that expands and collapses with one click would be helpful. We use Tally for a service configurator. This would let us explain unfamiliar terms while keeping the form concise. Reading the help should not create a submitted answer or affect required-field validation. We would appreciate this as a native feature, ideally available on the free plan.

I just came to check if someone had already submitted this as a feature. This would be an absolute game changer for us. I hope that this feature can be developed and released ASAP.

I've got some really long forms and it's help A LOT to shorten the forms and make them way more user friendly

This would be nice to have for certain blocks (esp. option selection ones). Less text block explainer notes, more tooltips. It is also helpful to retain user into a consistent flow from start to finish of the submission without leaving the form to external sites.
